This year we worked on Beveridge Village, a local convenience centre responding to the realities of growth in Melbourne’s northern corridor. As Beveridge continues to expand, access to everyday services becomes a foundational part of establishing a functioning community, not something to be retrofitted later.
Located at the corner of Mallaig Drive and Lithgow Street and anchored by Aspire Early Education, the project brings together retail, food and essential services in a compact, local format. For us, projects like this sit at the intersection of planning, timing and community need. As population shifts outward and new estates emerge, well-considered local centres play a quiet but important role in supporting daily life and setting the tone for how new neighbourhoods develop.
