Jesse Ant Architects is a Melbourne-based practice with a reputation for distinctive, intelligent architecture that exceeds client’s expectations. From feasibility through all project stages, the practice develops exceptional relationships with clients to ensure every brief and budget is met with the best-possible design and commercial outcomes.

Led by directors Antry Lau and Jessica Wang, the multidisciplinary practice has experience through high-quality single residences and multi-unit residential projects, to interiors, urban design, office and education architecture.

As co-director, Antry supervises the practice’s architecture from inception to completion, creating spaces that are functional, buildable and unique to the needs of each project. With more than a decade of experience, Antry balances the commercial outcomes of the client with innovative touches through light, colour and materials that keep the human experience always in mind. Antry is inspired by the simplicity of form and the integration of high-end technology in the architecture of Norman Foster, as well as the cultural, historical and environmental responses found in the work of architect Renzo Piano.

As one of the two founding directors, Jessica looks after various aspects of projects from concept to construction to ensure the vision of the client is upheld at every stage. Building on a career of over ten years in architecture, Jessica brings a fresh architectural language to suit the context of each project, along with a consistently high standard of quality and charming details. Jessica is inspired by the architect Bjarke Ingels, renowned for his optimistic and socially responsible vision, as well as the work of Kazuyo Sejima who designs with a clean, modernist approach through slick surfaces and pure geometry.
